Choosing laboratory products
Who can buy from PhD Products?
We supply small commercial laboratories and individual buyers. Choose products appropriate to your work and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
What does the price include?
Shop prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and the final order total are shown at checkout before you pay.
Does the price cover one item or a pack?
Check the pack quantity on the product page. The listed price covers the stated selling unit or pack. A box, case or pack may contain several individual items.
How do I check a product will fit my application?
Compare the listed dimensions, capacity, measuring range, materials and compatibility details. For electrical equipment, also check the voltage and plug information. If you need help, send us the product reference before ordering.
Which accessories are included?
The product page identifies the supplied items where confirmed. Images may show a product in use, so check the description before assuming that every accessory pictured is included.

Where are orders dispatched from?
We fulfil orders from stock in Northern Ireland and the UK.
When will my order be dispatched?
We fulfil orders from stock in Northern Ireland and the UK. Paid orders for products shown as in stock are normally dispatched the same day when placed before 3 pm Monday to Friday or before 12 noon on Saturday. Later orders leave on the next dispatch day; Sunday orders normally leave on Monday. All cut-off times are UK local time. Contact us before ordering if you need an item by a particular date. How much does delivery cost?
UK standard delivery is £2.45 including UK VAT and is free on qualifying orders of £20 or more after coupon discounts. Eligible European orders of £20.40 or more and rest-of-world orders of £20.50 or more qualify for free standard delivery. Checkout shows the services and final charge for your address. Can my European order receive a UPS upgrade?
Eligible orders to European destinations outside the UK receive an automatic upgrade from a non-UPS service: UPS Standard for a qualifying product total over £77.15 and up to £111.43, or UPS Express over £111.43. We use the product value after discounts, including applicable VAT and excluding delivery. There is no additional shipping charge, and an already selected UPS service stays as chosen.
Which payment methods can I use?
The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Your order is dispatched after payment has been confirmed.

What should I do if equipment is faulty or arrives damaged?
