Store small sample aliquots in clear polypropylene tubes with externally threaded caps. The uniform transparent walls allow the contents to be seen, while the skirt supports the tube upright during bench handling.
The supplier specifies suitability for repeated freeze and thaw cycles. For this 2 mL tube, keep the fill volume at or below 1.6 mL (80% of the nominal volume). Select storage conditions appropriate to the sample and the complete cryogenic storage procedure.
